After being awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to study in Amsterdam following my graduation from Harvard, I was ecstatic about the move. But the very first thing I heard—from fellow Fulbrighters, the Netherlands Fulbright Commission, and Dutch friends—was just how difficult it is to find housing in Amsterdam.

I was nervous. Everyone warned me about scams, sky-high competition, and the near-impossible odds of securing a place remotely. As someone still based in the U.S. and unable to visit properties in person, I was hesitant to hire a real estate agency because of the cost—but I knew I couldn’t navigate the process alone.

They sent detailed photos, videos, and FaceTimed me for a full walkthrough. When I finally arrived in Amsterdam, the apartment looked exactly as described—if not better. No surprises. No stress.

I can't recommend them enough!

I was trying to find a house to rent for over a month - very difficult for my situation as an expat. Had managed to go to some viewings hosted by other large agencies but I never reached to an agreement.
