I collaborated with Rik for finding an apartment for my stay in Amsterdam. As I have never lived in the Netherlands before, he was very helpful and explained to me clearly what’s the best approach in terms of choosing the area where to live, living costs, etc. Rik successfully secured an apartment for me in about 1 week, which was amazing and beyond my expectations given how competitive the rental market is in Amsterdam. The collaboration with Hendriks Housing and Rik in particular made be feel confident and a lot less stressed in this hectic process of finding a new home. Moreover, Rik also went to the check-in himself and later on came to the property on my arrival day for welcoming me. I would recommend Hendriks Housing to anyone looking for an apartment in the Amsterdam market!! I had a great experience with Willy. Rik did an amazing job helping me secure an apartment within a tight time frame before I started grad school. I was in the U.S. throughout the search and Rik communicated well about properties coming on the market and handled all the logistics seamlessly. He taught me the intricacies of the Dutch real estate market – how to put together a strong application with the right documentation for myself and my guarantors, how to set an appropriate budget for my wishlist, and what to expect in terms of quality and location. He led through all steps of the search – finding listings, visiting properties, making offers, and negotiating the lease. Rik’s advice was invaluable when assessing whether properties were worth the price being asked. My newly-renovated apartment in De Baarsjes is perfect for me: a quiet street just steps from cafes, shops, parks, and easy transportation options. It’s stressful moving overseas to a city I had only visited briefly, but Rik made the process so much easier. We had a truly outstanding experience with Hendriks Housing, especially thanks to Anouschka. We rented our home without ever seeing it in person. Anouschka visited the property on our behalf, recorded detailed videos, prepared thorough reports, and compared it with other available homes so that we could make the right decision with complete confidence. At a time when we were unable to travel she even collected the keys for us and arranged for the house to be cleaned before our arrival. Rik, our agent with Hendriks Housing, was amazing.  He was tremendously helpful in finding us an apartment to rent in Amsterdam.  He was clear and communicative at every step of the way and took a huge burden off of us.  He found us an mazing place within budget and in a wonderful neighborhood. Geweldige ervaring met het team van Hendriks Housing, en vooral met Mees. Mijn partner en ik kwamen terug verhuizen naar Amsterdam vanuit de VS. In de lastige woningmarkt van Amsterdam was het super fijn om hulp te hebben en ons niet steeds af te hoeven vragen of we alles wel goed deden. Onze financiële situatie was wat onorthodox, maar door het harde werk van Mees en Hendriks vonden we toch vrij snel na aankomst een prachtig appartement dat niet alleen aan al onze eisen voldeed, maar ze zelfs overtrof.
