I recently relocated to The Netherlands and was hit with the reality of how tough it is to find a place to live and everyone was telling me thats a 2 to 3 months usually. I connected with Hendriks Housing through a referral and immediately i was contacted by Quint, and along with the team we immediately managed many viewings. Quint was very welcoming, friendly and professional to his client.. but he was a shark to the landlord agent! A very strong negotiator, knows how to grab the landlord and the agent attention and knows how to present his client as the best candidate!

I was trying to find a house to rent for over a month - very difficult for my situation as an expat. Had managed to go to some viewings hosted by other large agencies but I never reached to an agreement.

I 100% recommend Hendriks Housing, which I saw from Zeynep Cetin's instagram story, and after searching for an apartment desperately for 6 weeks with low to no responses, we decided to work with them. Quint and Mo were coming back to us with an optimistic and realistic attitude, which is exactly what is necessary in the difficult Amsterdam housing market. They were both working very professionally and diligently, applying to many houses, going to viewings for us and sending us videos and making several proposals in a short time frame for us. They also explained us some Dutch housing market concepts with patience. Our situation was a bit complicated, being internationals and having a few documents half ready due to the nature of international moving, and having very limited time until we had to move in. We were thankful that both Quint and Mo were very communicative, helpful, flexible and friendly from the moment we met them and we were able to sign a contract only after 3 weeks following our initial contact! If you are an international student or expat looking to live in Amsterdam but intimidated by the ongoing housing crisis, Hendriks Housing will take away all your worries for you! I began to lose hope in finding a place after 2 months of receiving no replies or online invitations to viewings, so I finally turned to Hendriks Housing. They were extremely informative on the renting process and even gave explanations on recent changes in Dutch law that have made the hunt especially difficult. Although we knew it’d be a challenge, Hendriks Housing created a team dedicated to my search - huge thanks to Quint, Kevin, and Anushka! We went for a more creative approach and ended up making a very memorable profile that stood out to landlords. In just a week, I had multiple offers from landlords and all of a sudden, I was the one trying to pick which apartment suited me best! When I actually arrived in Amsterdam, Kevin took me to my apartment immediately and I was able to move in only a few hours after landing! And the service does not stop there. Kevin has also helped me with how to properly dispose trash from my specific address, setting up my Dutch bank account, and finding an e-bike that’s right for me. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!
